Terms of Service
Last updated: March 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DidTheyChange (“the Service”), operated by LoserLab (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DidTheyChange monitors publicly available terms of service, privacy policies, and other legal documents published by third-party companies. We detect changes, classify them by impact level, and present summaries and diffs to our users. We do not provide legal advice.
3. Accounts and Registration
Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Free and Paid Plans
The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier provides access to the public change feed. Pro subscribers receive additional features including email digests, full diffs, and custom URL monitoring. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $5/month through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service without authorization
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and original content (such as summaries and impact classifications), is owned by LoserLab. The policy documents we monitor are owned by their respective publishers. Our presentation of changes to those documents constitutes fair use commentary and analysis.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of change detection. Our summaries and impact classifications are automated and may contain errors. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal review.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoserLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. (And yes, we monitor our own terms too.)
